Sheriff Danny Hickman reports that the Sheriff’s Department, the 14th Judicial District Task Force and Harrison Police Department, in cooperation, conducted an investigation over several months involving the suspected manufacture of methamphetamine. Several arrests were made in the last few days as a result of this lengthy investigation.
Two search warrants were obtained and executed on June 22, 2010, resulting in the arrests of David Bates, age 51; Carla Bates, age 51; Derrick Bates, age 25; Lloyd Ingram, age 30; and Savannah Dickinson, age 24. Officers utilized information from sources and Leads on Labs to further their investigation and the arrests.
Officers executed one search warrant on the Bates residence located on Rains Road in Boone County. This search located Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a firearm, and chemicals used to produce methamphetamine. David and Carla Bates’ bonds were set at $50,000 and Derrick Bates bond was set at $15,000.
Officers executed the second search warrant on a residence at East Lee Street that resulted in the arrests of Ingram and Dickinson. Ingram has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond has been set at $100,000. Dickinson was charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and her bond was set at $25,000. At the time of this release all 5 persons were still incarcerated at the Boone County Jail.
