Sheriff Danny Hic
kman reports that the Boone County Sheriff's Office obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence of James and Tina Daniels on Friday, September 3rd, 2010.
During a lengthy investigation by Inv. Marc Arnold, information was obtained that Tina, 30 years old, and her juvenile son, had taken mail from a neighbor and had obtained the neighbors bank information. Daniels then paid bills and bought several items totaling over $3,000.00 with the neighbors bank account information.
Investigators had attempted several times to make contact with Tina Daniels at the residence for an outstanding Felony arrest warrant. The first search warrant was obtained to locate Tina and place her under arrest for this outstanding warrant. While investigators from the Boone County Sheriff's Office, the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force, and the Harrison Police Department, served the search warrant, investigators located what appeared to be components pertaining to a possible methamphetamine lab.
Investigators then secured the residence and obtained a second search warrant to be able to search the entire property for narcotics items. Investigators also used the online tool, Leads on Labs to track the amount of pseudoephedrine purchases by the Daniels. Over the last 12 months the Daniels had purchased at least 100 grams of Pseudoephedrine.
While executing the second search warrant, investigators located methamphetamine at the residence as well as meth related paraphernalia. Both James and Tina were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Meth, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Their bonds were set at $25,000.00 each and are currently being held at the Boone County Sheriff's Office pending bond.
