The Boone County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, Harrison Police Department Narcotics Division and the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force, has conducted several Narcotics investigations in the past two days netting six arrests.
On Monday, November 25th, 2013, Investigators received information from a concerned citizen about a possible meth lab located at a residence within the Harrison City Limits. A search warrant was conducted at 623 South Kelly Street where three arrests were made. Investigators located numerous “one pot” meth labs in a shed behind the house. Investigators also located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the home.
Arrested were 41 year old James Sheppard of Harrison, 45 year old Tracy Sheppard of Harrison, and 27 year old Felicia Anderson of Harrison for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance – Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Meth. The Harrison Police Department Special Operations Team assisted in gaining access to the residence.
On Tuesday, November 26th, 2013, Investigators received another call from a concerned citizen saying her granddaughter might possibly be “cooking” meth in her home. When Investigators arrived, they located what appeared to be a single “one pot” shake and bake lab. Further investigation into this case continues and an arrest is likely to be made.
On the same date, Investigators conducted a second search warrant at the home of Kevin and Britany Fleetwood located at 3520 Wilkinson Loop. Information was obtained that the couple had been purchasing excessive amounts of pseudoephedrine to manufacture meth. During the search warrant, 33 year old Kevin Fleetwood of Harrison fled from officers and was apprehended a short time later.
During the search, Investigators located methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and items associated with the manufacture of meth within the home. Mr. Fleetwood was arrested for an outstanding warrant, Manufacturing a controlled substance – meth, possession of a controlled substance – meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, and fleeing on foot. 25 year old Britany Fleetwood of Harrison has not yet been located and being sought by Investigators for the same charges.
Later Tuesday evening, Narcotics Investigators were contacted by the Arkansas Probation and Parole to assist them with a home visit. While at the residence located at 7960 Blackbear Lane in Lead Hill, Investigators located indoor marijuana grow. 30 plants were found located growing the bathroom area of the residence. Investigators also located drug paraphernalia and items used in the manufacturing process. 35 year old Martin Zobus of Lead Hill and 25 year old Felisha Besse were arrested for parole violations, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Manufacturing a Controlled Substance – Marijuana.
