The Boone County Sheriff Reserve Association and the Sheriff’s Office are pleased to announce that the Project Loved One Program has received the Care Trak Inc. radio equipment to aid in recovery of those that may wander away or become lost.
Personnel from the Sheriff's Office and Reserves completed the two day training required to operate this equipment. Steve Case of the St. Charles Missouri Sheriff's Department provided that training.
On July 1, 2014 we placed our first two bands on Project Loved One participants. Project Loved One Participants need to contact Kandi Wilson at 870-741-8044 to fill out an application for a transmitter. We have a very limited amount of transmitters and want to provide those to the most needed.
The transmitters and maintenance are costly, but it is our goal to offer the transmitters cost free to the public through donations and proceeds from our annual golf tournament.
We are always accepting donations through the Boone County Sheriff’s Reserve Association which is a non-profit corporation. Any donations are always tax deductible.
