On Monday, September 21st, 2015 a joint Narcotics operation between the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force, Flippin Police Department, and the Harrison Police Department, netted two arrests, almost 2 ounces of suspected methamphetamine and 20 firearms.
Investigators executed a search warrant at a residence near Bruno in Marion County looking for wanted fugitive, 38 year old Christopher Hersh from Boone County. During the execution of the search warrant, Investigators located almost 2 ounces of methamphetamine, numerous firearms, and other items of drug related paraphernalia.
Hersh and 32 year old Clinton Cole of Bruno were taken into custody and are facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Cole was transported to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office while Hersh was transported to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office to be served with an outstanding warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Meth, and Fleeing on Foot.
Both individuals are being held without bond pending formal charges.
