5 Arrested in Burglary

Boone County Deputies received a report of a residential burglary of a single family residence in eastern Boone County and subsequently arrested 5 individuals in connection with that burglary.


A high powered rifle and a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun were stolen along with other property. The rifle along with some property was recovered in a vehicle at a Bergman convenience store and the pistol was subsequently recovered from a wooded area near Norvel Drive in Boone County on Monday January 18th.


The 3 males and 2 females that were arrested have been charged as follows:


Steven R. Kollin, age 23, Residential Burglary, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Theft of Property. Bond set at $20,000 cash only and he remains in the Boone County Jail.


Tanner J. Crook, age 22, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons, Possession or use of Weapons by Incarcerated Person, Refusal to Submit to Arrest, Residential Burglary, Theft of Property and a White Warrant from Probation and Parole. Bond has been set at $20,000 cash only and he remains in the Boone County Jail


Brandon L. Snyder, age 34, Residential Burglary and Theft of Property. Bond set at $10,000, which bond has been posted and Snyder released from the Boone County Jail.


Heather M. Douglas, age 23, Residential Burglary and Theft of Property. Bond set at $7,500 which bond has been posted and Douglas released from the Boone County Jail.


Rachel M. Wyatt, age 39, faces charges of Aiding the Consummation of an Offense, and Hindering Prosecution. Bond set at $10,000, cash or pro, and she remains in the Boone County Jail.


Boone County Investigators have recovered most of the property stolen during this burglary.
