On September 7th, 2019, The Boone County Sheriff's Office was notified by a female stating that her 26 year old husband had been shot at a residence on Floyd Rd and she was taking him to the emergency room. Investigators responded to the property and recovered evidence that a shooting had taken place.

As of this date, the male subject is in critical condition and the incident is still under investigation.
